Forthcoming: November 2026

Len Lewis, Paradise People +
Dzungla (DZUN004) · 12" · 1 November
Dzungla have been through Len Lewis's archive. "Paradise People" first came out in 2002 and people have been after it ever since, so it's back on the A side, next to a dub he made of it a year later and never put out. The B side is previously unreleased as well: "Bare Back", and a track called "A1", for some reason.
He has been at this since his first rave, Phantasy in 1990. Around then he turned down a music scholarship at Goldsmiths and left the band he was singing in. His first record came out in 1993 on Jumpin' & Pumpin'. These days he is known for the darker end of tech house, Sinister Tech House as it gets called, or S!TH.

The Nightstalker, Flowers Of Agony
Childhood Intelligence (Child 22) · 2LP · 2 November
Dan Piu and Gary Rich started this story in 2020 with The Tragedies Of A High-Tech World and carried it on in 2022 with Genetic Constitution. This is the end of it, again on the Berlin label Childhood Intelligence.
Ten tracks over two records, made on analogue gear by two people who have been friends for twenty years. The label calls it technoid braindance electro. The titles give you some idea where the story goes: "Theater Of The Blind Prophet", "Ghosts Wearing Crowns", "404 Neustart Verweigert", "Escape From The Life Algorythm" (their spelling). I can hear this on Panterprovinsen.

Yoofee, Green Eyes
Casa Voyager (CVR02) · 12" · 9 November
Moses Yoofee plays keys in the Moses Yoofee Trio, with Roman Klobe and Noah Fürbringer, who he met at school in Berlin. They won Live Act of the Year at the German Jazz Prize in 2024. On his own, as Yoofee, he makes beats. This is his second EP for Casa Voyager, the Casablanca label, after Lost Papers: five tracks of broken beat built from jazz, soul and r&b.

Trolley Route, New Visual Order
Dekmantel (DKMNTL-UFO23) · 12" · 13 November
If you know Oscar Mulero from PoleGroup, you know the hard version. He has been DJing in Madrid since the late eighties, opened The Omen in 1994, and has run Warm Up since 2000 and PoleGroup since 2004.
Trolley Route is where he goes when he wants something looser. He started it in the early 2000s with records on Pure Plastic and Minuendo, left it alone for over a decade and picked it up again in 2023. This one is for Dekmantel's UFO series: four tracks of techno with dub in the textures and synth leads that owe a lot to Detroit.

Ekkel, Me & The Ghost
Kalahari Oyster Cult (OYSTER81) · 2LP · 13 November
The Norwegian record this month. Ekkel is Teo Bachs, who co-founded Ute in Oslo in 2017, a collective and label with a cult following for its take on psychedelic trance. He and the other founders once closed Outsider Festival with an 18-hour set. He is also in Ipeo and The Dosadi Experiments, and plays live as Solar Alliance with Mikkel Rev and Oprofessionell.
This is his debut album, six tracks over two records. The label places it in the line of the Swedish and Danish progressive of the early 2000s, Spiral Trax and Creamcrop, and describes it as slow, stripped down and heavy at the bottom, with disembodied voices coming through. One synth line, they say, would not be out of place on a BBC Radiophonic Workshop retrospective.
Alvedans plays prog and trance on Vers Libre on the last Friday of every month, if this is your thing.

Blawan, Gi Mi Keys Back / Auto Fake
XL Recordings (XL1697T) · 12" · 13 November
"I honestly thought I stopped enjoying making stuff for the floor," Blawan wrote when he announced this one. It's a year since SickElixir, the XL album he called his real debut, and in the meantime he has moved to another city and taken the studio with him. "Gi Mi Keys Back" keeps changing shape under a vocal that pulls it towards trance. "Auto Fake" is on the other side.

Rossiter, Round & Round EP
Goodtunes (GT005) · 12" · 14 November
"Feels So Good" opens with a shuffle and a hint of UK garage, "Go Straight" is lighter and dubbier, and "Round & Round" is the heavy one. Then there's "P45", built on interview samples of Grooverider. Rossiter is from Manchester and recently started his own label, Dustbin Digs. This is the fifth release on Goodtunes.

Regent, North Prism
Monnom Black (MONNOM044) · 12" · 27 November
Born and raised in Berlin, Regent came up through off-location parties there and has since played Tresor, RSO and Bassiani. Records on Mutual Rytm, ARTS, Clergy and Philippa Pacho's Positive Source came first. North Prism is his debut album, nine tracks of techno on Dax J's Monnom Black, moving between stripped-back, driving tracks and more atmospheric ones. He has started playing live as well.
