About Nabolaget
Nabolaget (Norwegian for "the neighborhood") is a 10-episode radio series produced by Vers Libre, created to champion and celebrate the rich tapestry of Bergen's local music community.
Each 60-minute episode shines a direct light on emerging musicians, local DJs, and sound artists who are shaping the city's sonic identity. Moving beyond the standard broadcast, Nabolaget pairs deep-dive interviews with intimate, stripped-down live performances.
To keep the show rooted in the community, Nabolaget steps outside the traditional studio walls and into the neighborhood, hosting and recording live sessions on-location at local cultural venues like Cornerteateret’s Cornerbaren.

Meet Your Host: Christian Soks
Christian Soks is a producer, DJ, and event organiser at Vers Libre. Deeply rooted in Bergen’s local cultural scene, Christian has been instrumental in shaping community broadcasts and live events across the city. As the creator and host of Nabolaget, he brings an ear for fresh sounds, a curiosity for artistic journeys, and a commitment to giving emerging local talent a platform to share their craft.

Millo (Emilie Sture Ljung) is a Bergen-based Norwegian artist, songwriter and producer making dark, synth-driven pop with powerful vocals, brutally honest lyrics and a touch of madness. Known for her high-energy live performances and unapologetic personality, she blends catchy pop melodies with darker electronic elements and classical influences.
As a female artist who writes, produces and mixes most of her own music, Millo is involved in every step of bringing her songs to life. Her debut EP Method Of Madness dives into heartbreak, chaos, love and everything in between.
