About Nabolaget
Nabolaget (Norwegian for "the neighborhood") is a 10-episode radio series produced by Vers Libre, created to champion and celebrate the rich tapestry of Bergen's local music community.
Each 60-minute episode shines a direct light on emerging musicians, local DJs, and sound artists who are shaping the city's sonic identity. Moving beyond the standard broadcast, Nabolaget pairs deep-dive interviews with intimate, stripped-down live performances.
To keep the show rooted in the community, Nabolaget steps outside the traditional studio walls and into the neighborhood, hosting and recording live sessions on-location at local cultural venues like Cornerteateret’s Cornerbaren.

Meet Your Host: Christian Soks
Christian Soks is a producer, DJ, and event organiser at Vers Libre. Deeply rooted in Bergen’s local cultural scene, Christian has been instrumental in shaping community broadcasts and live events across the city. As the creator and host of Nabolaget, he brings an ear for fresh sounds, a curiosity for artistic journeys, and a commitment to giving emerging local talent a platform to share their craft.

Siem is a project that focuses on the timeless, the organic, the philosophical, and the nostalgic. The songs blend 70s folk with 90s Britpop.
