January - Reshaping Radio

Last year Vers Libre evolved from an idea, into a working radio station thanks to the support of our creators, contributors, listeners, followers and supporters.

We wholeheartedly nurtured the freeform approach of allowing everyone the chance to own their own radio show. Your show, you decide. 

This year, we'll be keeping you updated with a regular newsletter,
in addition to social media.

Jungelen celebrates its four year birthday with a two day mini festival at Landmark, Bergen (24-26.jan)

Jungelen has been a regular radio show on Vers Libre since we launched.Plus! We’re broadcasting simultaneously to Piñata Radio (FR) and MMH Radio (DK).

2019 Highlights

EKKO Festival

EKKO Festival

Five days of live broadcasts from a cosy cabin in central Bergen. 
Hytta Radio was a pop-up/drop-in success story for Vers Libre. 

Pigs in Space

Most shows are two hours. Bjørn Torske and Trym Søvdsnes played six and it was truly epic!

Derin Live Session

Produced in collaboration with Vil Vil Vest Festival, this intimate artist performance and interview was a lot of fun to make. More of these to come in 2020.

NoFilter Festival

Situated at Ole Bull Scene, Bergen and run by a volunteer youth organisation, we broadcast live performances on Vers Libre over the course of two days.

De (Nese) Vise

Representing the Bergen metal scene, last year Ditlef Svae, Eivind Sørhus and Runar Hansen gave us De (Nese) Vise. Check out the brilliant interview with Swedish metalcore band Eyes Wide Open. 

Vers Libre x Piñata Radio

Three days of live performances and guests in a collaboration with French indy radio station Piñata.Highlights included a visit from Danish artist Josephine Bovién, musical duo Yellow Spoon, Ol'Burger Beats & Vuyo.
